Terms of use
The terms for using The Mashore Group website: what the information here is and is not, when a working relationship begins, and our Fair Housing commitment.
Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by The Mashore Group, a real estate team led by Krista Mashore, DRE #01346304, at 44 Sycamore Ave, Brentwood, CA 94513.
Using this site means you accept what is on this page. It is short on purpose, and it is worth reading, because a house is the largest transaction most people ever make.

What the information here is for
Everything on this site is general information about buying and selling homes in the areas we work. It is written to help you understand the process before you are in it.
It is not advice about your specific situation. Your house, your street, your timing and your finances are particular to you, and nothing written for a general audience can account for that. When you want an answer about your own situation, ask us and we will give you one.
Not legal, tax or lending advice
We are licensed to help you buy and sell real estate. We are not attorneys, accountants or lenders, and nothing on this site is legal, tax or lending advice.
Real estate rules vary by state, and some of them vary by county. Anything here that describes how a transaction runs describes how it generally runs in our market, at the time of writing. For advice about your own position, talk to your attorney, your tax professional or your lender.
Property information and market figures
Property details, availability and prices change constantly, and information that was accurate when it was published may not be accurate when you read it. Verify anything you intend to rely on before you act on it.
Any home valuation offered through this site is an estimate and an opinion, not an appraisal. An appraisal is a separate, formal process carried out by a licensed appraiser.
When we start working together
Reading this site, filling in a form, or having a conversation with us does not by itself make us your agent. A working relationship begins when we agree on it in writing, in the form the law requires.
Until then you are welcome to ask us anything, and we will answer honestly, including when the honest answer is that you should wait or that we are not the right fit.
How we are paid is agreed between us in writing, and it is negotiable. Nothing on this site sets or suggests a rate.
Fair Housing
We are committed to the letter and the spirit of the Fair Housing Act and to California fair housing law. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, familial status, disability, source of income, marital status, age, or any other protected characteristic.
We describe properties and places. We do not describe who lives somewhere, and we will not steer you toward or away from any area on the basis of who you are. If you ever feel we have fallen short of that, tell us.
This site is built to meet recognised accessibility standards. If any part of it is difficult for you to use, contact us and we will help you directly and fix the problem.
The content on this site
The words, photographs, video and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and they are protected by copyright. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use. Republishing them as your own is not permitted.
Where we link to other websites, we do so because we think they are useful. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they contain or how they handle your information.
Limits, and the law that applies
We work to keep this site accurate and available, and we cannot promise it will be free of error or never interrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site itself, which is separate from the duties we owe you as your agent once we are working together.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
If we change these terms we will update this page, and the date below tells you when it last changed. Questions go to Krista@KristaHomes.com, or use the contact page. Our privacy policy explains what happens to information you send us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does contacting you make you my agent?
No. A working relationship begins when we agree on it in writing, in the form the law requires. Before that you are welcome to ask us anything, and we will answer honestly.
Is the home value estimate on this site an appraisal?
No. It is an estimate and an opinion of value. An appraisal is a separate formal process carried out by a licensed appraiser, and a lender will usually require one.
Is the information on this site legal or tax advice?
No. We are licensed to help you buy and sell real estate, not to give legal or tax advice. Real estate rules vary by state and sometimes by county, so talk to your attorney or tax professional about your own position.
How are your fees decided?
They are agreed between us in writing and they are negotiable. Nothing on this site sets or suggests a rate.
